Am I he only one here that worries about money lol? If so can anyone give me some advice on how to go about this. I been working fucking 80 hours a week for years, no vacations. I want to train and develop Full time but GODDAMIT I hate money, and I worry about not having money.

So what do u think the future holds.

Is everyone here destined to become a weekend warrior, doing a bullshit 9-5 the majority of the week and trying to become a sorcerer on the weekend. This is the biggest issue, I couldnt give 2 shits about bad players or ppl trying to make money off this. I really don’t follow any of them, I just want to live a life not worrying about money to enjoy life and train sorcery.

And if anyone says you have to train harder and do it all day even while at work. Man just stop, we face a bigger challenge these days than any sorcerer ever did back in the old days with paying rent.

Will there eventually be another compound built? Maybe a revitalization of the Castaneda internet community. You don’t want to generate funds Or make money from this but unfortunately bro I don’t think the community will grow unless there is a way to become self sufficient. Yes there may be a few here that come through the cracks and progress but not as much as any of us would hope.

Yea people will continue to train and develop “ slowly”. But unless you have the majority of the students become completely financially self sufficient then they will not be able to direct their time and attention to training 100 percent.

You said at one point the iOBs helped you with a new Nintendo cartridge that sold for millions. Would you still be on the path you are right now if you didn’t make that type of money, and allow you to have some ease when it comes to finances?

The ancient olmecs didn’t have to work a 9-5 to survive. They grew up in that society and could probably devote the majority of their time to sorcery.

I see that people the number one hurdle when it comes to grow the community, and truly develop real sorcerers.

That’s just my opinion

Of course I’d still be on this path. I’ve been on it since 5 years old.

Frankly, when you can reach the orange zone daily, you don’t care how you earn a living.

Why is one job better than the other? At that position of the assemblage point, it’s not!

In fact, the “best” jobs, like being famous, a singer movie star, real estate giant, would be horrible. The opposite of what you’d like to be doing, to learn sorcery.

A job at Walmart would be superior for a sorcerer.

And it’s easy to get a job in this country!

In fact, it’s especially easy to make money these days.

I know a man who did Uber eats to pay for his new car, and had it paid in one year even while working a job.

Then he played around with digital coins, and so far this year he’s earned $1.5M.

Lost $700K of it. Got scammed by the Chinese with a misleading button to click on.

But he also has a digital coin credit card which not only pays when he buys food, but he makes a profit on most transactions.

Seems like you’re putting things off until the situation is right.

A common problem. I ran into that for 20 years, trying to teach by email.

Everyone was always waiting for everything to be perfect. THEN, they’d do some work.

I feel your pain.
Working the 9-5 is a bitch.

80hour weeks is unrealistic, I’d seriously look for a better job.

Maybe consider alternatives to the living situation.

If you own- rent out rooms.
If you rent- get roommates

The money you seek, is it all required for survival?? Are you making that little? Are your obligations that high??

Perhaps restructuring your life and possibly filing for bankruptcy would remove the excess burden.

I don’t have the specific details so I’m just generalizing and speculating.

I would have beyond regretted it.

Consider what you’re actually asking here!

Is it ok to cheat others out of money, so you can study what you pretend to be teaching them?

And, how can you make more money, so you can finally find the time to learn?

That makes even less sense.

Here’s your situation: You live in hell.

No amount of money or fame is going to get you out of there.

You have to start digging.

Waiting to start to dig until everything is just right, merely means you’re staying in hell until you get too old and tired to do anything about it.

This comes up for most people eventually.

It’s don Juan’s story of the “River of Filth”.

Even when people are lifted out and hosed off, most go back to the filth because it’s “cozy”.

And all the time I run into people considering giving up. Even if they’ve see that it works!

They got into it based on wanting something else. Not magic. Something I can’t even figure out.

When they get real magic and realize it’s not the same as the other thing they were actually after, it’s less important to them. And then the huge amount of hard work seems like a waste of leisure time.

That was your motivation. Not magic. But magic was related to what you wanted, indirectly.

In your case, I’d guess you like to discuss magic. Not do it. Discuss it, in a hero worship sort of way. A “Look what I found!!!” sort of thing.

Like the video you found of the Indonesian magic faker.

Someone else from Indonesia pointed me to another of those. It’s a common “business model” in Indonesia. Faked magic.

There’s a whole segment of the population like that. Those who like to share stories of other people who can do magic.

Let’s call them, “The inspiring well informed Church goers”.

But they live in hell too!

Anyone who quits, only has hell to go back to.

Makes no sense to me.

Except that, part of what holds the human form in place, must be the “rewards” it’s been promised. Cookies???

They’re all shitty rewards.

And over the course of their lives, every single human comes to realize, they were shitty rewards.

But it’s too late to do anything about it, so they go and brainwash the grandchildren to believe in the same shitty rewards.

The rewards of sorcery are beyond belief!

I literally stepped into heaven last night. Lily (or maybe Fancy together with her), showed me how easy it is to do that.

Endless people milling around, just as Carlos described it. Taking “very small steps”.

I didn’t see the Togas Carlos makes fun of.

I am not having children, I saw what my parents went through. I mean it is t worth it, work and work ur whole life for some last few years of retirement, and they themselves had to start over as immigrants in middle life do to war too.

I see allot of people in my generation, including me not wanting to have kids. We barely have time for ourselves

I know, my man: it takes the 2 hours we have free each day, just to sharpen our pencils - and now they tell us we have to actually write something. Geesh!! I sure hope the spirit doesn’t mind tantrums :slight_smile:

Seriously though, work is another place to train - controlled folly, petty tyrants, stamina, attention, warriorship. It’s all there for the pickins’

That’s not to tell people who did make kids, that was a mistake.

I think Carol Tiggs commented on that in lecture notes on this subreddit in the last week.

She said we don’t have to “get our energy” back from kids anymore.

Or maybe not even ditch our friends and family?

But certainly if you have less obligations you have more time to practice.

But you need to get those rewards! So you’ll want to practice, and won’t worry about some other idea in your mind, related to the whole process.

One might even “redefine” sorcery of being the process of seeking impossible rewards.

Perhaps the “not seeking rewards” thing is badly mistaken? It should be, “Don’t be satisfied with rewards that are too small.”

Don Juan might not like that…

I don’t ask about such things for energetic reasons. Little Smoke took an interest in him around 10 years ago.

He also sells chickens. Bought a digital coin chicken for $500 (in a lot of 10) sold it for $2400.

Owns a roulette table in a virtual casino, where he’s put a robot to spin the wheel all day.

Real people are welcome to play, but by betting his own money, he earns a profit with each spin.

I believe most of those situations exist because the activity generates worthless digital coins. The “company” behind it, just generates them, using economic activity to limit how many get made.

So they can’t just go crazy and print themselves money.

It’s like “proof of work” generated coins.

In that specific case, coins are only generated when someone uses the credit card for a real purchase.

And then you get the coins they generated, and they get the usual 4% mastercard charge.

But speculators will buy any new coins. So the worthless coins are not worthless right now. And you can “unload” them for ethereum.

The coins they give you are worth 6% of the purchase at minimum, to become your “cash back”.

How you get free food at times, I don’t understand.

Or why anyone would pay $2400 for a chicken.

They’re “racing chickens”. Will be used later at a virtual track where bets are placed.

Bottom line: Multiple new companies are “printing money”, and it actually has value.

Just figure out how they limit the printing of that money, and join in.

I suppose it’s like being a day trader.

Thanks for this post dan, this is a really insightful reply. I’ve noticed in the last week, as I got a bit of silence and gained some clarity, I also came into full contact with my desires that have been in place for a long time. Work performance, living up to my potential blah blah fantasy land after a few good days at work because of clarity. Funny how it creates a bit of a feedback loop back to the bluezone.

Pulled me right back to hell in a matter of days. Feel better now after more gazing, but I guess I need to unravel these things that I want, other then magic, and put them into perspective. It’s like having the knowledge now that my original desires aren’t going to get me to end of job, but part of you still wants them!!! The stories of the rewards still live in my head. And that mind-state is incompatible if you want to move down the J curve.

In heaven?

My take on it is, God is the human mold.

And since it’s aware when you are perceiving it, it’s easy to mistake it for your own local god.

The appearance is probably like the IOBs and varies by your expectations.

And heaven is the intent of all who pray to go to heaven. They’ve created a “phantom heaven”.

Yogis are famous for visiting both heaven and hell.

And I’ve seen all of those also.

But I don’t get the impression those are real “souls” in there.

Since we don’t understand reality in the first place, it’s hard to accept that it’s so easy to make a phantom place that looks real.

But I made a new one last night!

Each new one you make potentially has cool things about it you didn’t see in previous ones.

This phantom copy of my room had an abstract aspect I can’t find any words to describe.

It “looped” back on the J curve, depending on where in the room you looked.

It was “multi-level”.

I was only trying to project a forest onto my bedspread, so the phantom room was actually annoying.

If I had to describe it, I’d blame Cholita for punching a hole from the early red zone to the orange zone.

Which is still lingering.

Maybe when Carlos said women can move their assemblage point all the way to the end of the J curve, and back gain in an instant, he gave us a clue about this.

But they don’t remember moving it like that.

Maybe they cheat using their womb. And don’t travel along the whole J curve.

They “pinch” it in the middle, and jump to the end? Like that book, “A wrinkle in Time”.

Purple zone seeing is needed to figure that one out!

Cholita’s had me drive her there a few times.

Oddly, if what I suspect is true, Cholita would have run into those people before Carlos brought her to LA.

Thanks… I really don’t need much, just want to do my current job well, and not be in hell. I guess that’s how this whole journey started, didn’t like my performance levels (or happiness levels). Potential has been untapped most of my life feeling. Some days are like a lightning storm of productivity, other days it;s a real struggle. I just want to be ON all the time and not at the mercy of adrenaline and passion.

Apparently I found magic! hahaha, over shoot. But its nice here.
