I think I have an IOB with a name / Practice Update

A few days ago while in the red zone I was seeing all sorts of weirdness around me with faces and eyes. I saw a blob of purple with a face and the name Chandler came into my mind. I heard it clearly.

In my more recent practices I have struggled to get out of the green zone. Stuck with internal dialogue. At one point I yelled out “Chandler!” and my IOB appeared. I instantly started seeing much more visible magic.

Today in the dark room I was struggling with the same problem and I yelled the name again and instantly saw the face.

It was like the sound of my voice manifested it. Also, one redditor gave me the advice to “roam” around my room to help with getting silent… TOTALLY SOLID ADVICE! I highly suggest it.

I tried the horizontal shift to the right while in the green zone with a little bit of luck I think. Mainly just smeared a purple puff into a rectangular shape that formed a dream scene on it for a moment but then i got too excited and lost it due to internal dialogue.

That’s possibly the best benefit of IOBs.

If they’re around, puffs get brighter and more “real” looking.

But don’t overlook how they “teach”.

It can be hard to notice, unless they “make you an offer you can’t refuse”.

Like when Fancy told me, “I’ll teach you sliding dreaming”, while dressed like Little Red Riding Hood.

Who’d say no to that offer???

Just keep in mind, anything you “discover” while they are visible, or were visible in the last few minutes, should be credited to them.

Even if you can’t see a direct connection.

Fairy taught me dark room gazing by flying around the room, hovering next to the brightest puffs of purple.

She didn’t tell me she was teaching me, but it became obvious after a few days.

She wanted me to scoop the puffs into my hand.

Once I did, I realized all you could do at that point is place them where Carlos said to put them.

Each time I did, she flew to another!

On another occasion, one of my IOBs (can’t recall which), just “happened to be there” in the right spot for me to catch something amazing.

If I hadn’t seen her little head over there, I would not have looked that direction.

But be careful.

When you can see them, visually, you are pulled whichever direction they come from.

Assemblage point wise.

So they can “lure” you down a tunnel if they feel like it, and you can end up in a place you couldn’t have found without them.

Like a girlfriend in a closed amusement park at night, running away from you just fast enough so that you have to hurry.

And then you realize, they were not actually running away. They were leading you to a specific part of the park.

I dont know how I got on this subreddit but I have been reading and still and puzzled. What is Castenada and how do I do it?

“Who was Castaneda” might be the better question. I think it’s all in this group’s wiki. Particularly the how-to.

Is there a documentary explaining all this? I did see some on the guy that was a Dr. And ended up becoming a shaman and then called a hoax. I have the correct dude?

Sounds like you aren’t seriously interested in real sorcery, just in some useless inventory.

Labeling Castaneda as shaman and hoax stuff just disturbs your own link to intent, like all the bad players did. Those inventory will prevent you from real sorcery. It’s counter-intent stuff. If you’d read the wiki, you hadn’t to ask for that. Does it really matter what other people mean when you know real sorcery? Give a damn about their opinions!

I dont care about others opinions, but they mix it with fact and idk the subject so just confusing. I am curious to all the mystical things of this world. Since I recently dropped religion as I am reading all religious text and finding a link to them all.

Because that’s all they can do. Confusing other people. It’s mental abuse.

Then it’s best to experience these things for yourself instead of just reading about them. As already mentioned, this group contains the how-to. Reaching inner silence is the only entry point. Find a method which seems to be fitting for yourself, and start practicing. There’s no need to waste your time with mixed up outside stuff.

You found this subreddit’s wiki? If it’s not revealing enough to you, then try to search for:

  • darkroom
  • silence
  • stalking
  • gazing

I’m sure you’ll find a bunch of practices. Just pick one of those from which you think it would be right for you. And then practice it honestly as often as possible. As if you wouldn’t have any other hobbies.

I had a meditation from darkroom that i dont know how i got this result bc i was trying just focus. But when j was about to stop. Right as my eyelids were opening i saw a flash of blue clear sky. So i closed my eyes to see it and nothing but as i opened m eyes between close and open. There was a spot were i Co uld see like my eyes were open. I was in a field with clear skies i could look around and see everything. Pretty wild so now I am hooked

Just keep on practicing, gain experience. But don’t expect it to always be like this.

There are good and bad days. On the good days you’ll be rewarded. On the bad days you learn because it’s hard without being satisfactory.

Good days? Varying. You’ll notice.

Good practices? (Darkroom) gazing. Or chair silence. And try to stay conscious while your body falls asleep.

It’s okay. Nobody knows everything. Not even in here. Just consider you’re gathering energy with inner silence. And available energy creates magical experiences. That’s what you’ll do.
