But you can’t repeat anything.

But you can’t do that again. Because now you’re “expecting” it. And sorcery works through a force called “intent”, which is at least 20% “expectations”.
You had none when it happened, so now that you have them added, it cannot be repeated.
Except, something even better comes next.
You just have to allow the “instruction” to flow to you, with no hope to turn any of it into “practical magic”. That’s stuff you can repeat, to gain an advantage in your ordinary world.
