What is the problem with meditation?

And then in middle age, you see the trap, and start practicing to escape and reclaim your energy……….or just have a mid-life crisis get a divorce, hairpiece, Botox, and a corvette, and new teen bride; that’s a kinda sorcery too.

Yep, they’re pretty funny, it comes out in the books. But who could commit to that level of practice? I’d never do it.

I’ve advanced on my own via this sub and the techniques and knowledge from here. Many have.

In my opinion, meditation is a way to replace the internal dialogue with something else: breath control, mantra, etc. Our goal is to learn to eliminate the internal dialogue without any additional means. At least in the long term. In the early stages, meditation may be an easier way, but it is more useful to do Tensegrity and eliminate the internal dialogue by concentrating on the movements of the passes, rather than just sitting with your eyes closed.

I’ve been stalking my self for a lot of years, It happens automatically now. Probably why I feel so tired while most People act on autopilot.

Stalking yourself doesn’t make you tired…

What might make you tired is that your energy body has taken a beating from drugs.

Start doing recapitulation. I notice you don’t list that in your list of practices.

There is a very good chance you don’t understand what stalking is.

Explain please, how do you stalk your self?

The crux of the difference between meditation and sorcery silence could boil down to the intervention of intent (aka, the active side of infinity) when you factor in the undeniable fact that we’re not actually doing any of this on our own.

There is an external force which is directly involved in these perceptions and experiences, that is invoked/summoned by replicating the practices as close to how they were originally done in antiquity as is possible.

Whereas in meditation, you’re invoking a stagnant/stolid mythos that is intertwined with the “deeply ingrained social norms or rules within Asian society that are considered morally significant and often carry strong social sanctions for violation.”

Meditation would seem to be a logical starting point, an entry to these practices for a total newb.

But it really isn’t. Chiefly because it is calming, like a drug is calming, and erodes the impetus to see beyond the world we think we know.

You begin to accept the “matrix” (to invoke that movie’s mythos).

You need that residual angst, for motivation. Otherwise you’ll wind up a smiling closed eye monk, hiding from the world, who has temporarily found peace within himself, but remains blind to all that is beyond that centered self.

Has “better” thoughts, and thus never takes “the red pill” (actually silences the mind).
