They use rituals to move their assemblage points, and have no knowledge of the assemblage point.
So they’re essentially “men of knowledge” in some unusual form.

But it’s not impossible there are some of those left too.
The seers come from the strains of ancient shamanism. Perhaps 8 all over the world, before agriculture, money, and cities ruined it all.
Once humans are pushed into cities, kept away from their natural environment and from spirits, they are so stupid, they’ll grasp for any supernatural teaching, to make their horrible city lives more meaningful.
With money, con artists can trick them with pretend magic.
And the world has been dominated by that. All the original real magic, buried over.
