How to Use a Crystal Ball

There seem to be delays in the way intending works, a reply to a query may take hours/days/months to receive. This also reminds of the Coma Berenices decisionmaking delays (wait X hours before decision). Seen in bodily responses to various stimuli: medication and stimulants having variable delayed response, sharpness of effect making it much easier to attribute, stimulants (f.e.caffeine/nocotine) causing harsh “detox-style” headaches/symptoms, easy to attribute if you remember the 48h delay window, but confusing if expecting a fast action-reaction turnover.

Perhaps “sharpness”/squareness/abruptness of original intention increases the the response speed, and slow-ringing hesitant soft intention creates a slower, ambiguous, delayed and difficult-to-attribute response.

In first attention it sometimes manifests as having/lacking energy to sharply initiate tasks: with a slow-ringing goal the task gets postponed, slowly gaining momentum but may take infinitely long to start, “procrastination”. Compared to a sharp abrupt violent energy stimulus from internalized or external “supervisor/boss” figure, which can be redirected either into a similarly abrupt violent defence or used to amplify the existing task “wave” so it starts executing.

Reading tales of power provides similar external violent boost that lends energy for a fast start, so the request-reply turnover is faster and you can still remember which request is being replied to. Replies to a “slow” request being difficult to attribute to specific request effort timeline.

There is!

Minimum I’ve seen is 5 seconds.

Maximum is several hours.

I’m not observant enough to realize some can take months!

In fact, it’s often hard to connect intent producing results 10 minutes later, even when it’s so obvious you’d have to be an idiot.

I requested to my little fairy that we should be closer. In words, stated outloud.

She disappeared. I figured, that didn’t work.

I found myself in an alien forest just a few minutes later. But I was just passing through (not under my own power).

And then I was inside her world, by 2 feet from the edge of my bedroom, looking right at her.

In her native environment.

I never go that far in, I only remain at the wall, looking in, and at most reach my hand into there.

She did exactly what I asked! She brought us closer together.

And I never connected that to the request I made, which had intended it.

Weird speculation: The inorganics are masters of intent, like Silvio Manuel!

That’s a very good point. Carlos had a way of teaching about one thing, using another.

I realized last night, he taught me all I needed to know about Cholita’s prowess in dreaming.

He was standing so close, I only had to raise my left arm to horizontal, and I’d have touched him.

But he was facing just past me, looking off into nothing I could see.

I didn’t realize he was doing that at the time.

He literally explained Cholita to me, without using her name.

Tensegrity does that a little too. He used to emphasize the first movement being a thrust of the shoulders down, curving the back suddenly, to produce a jolt that went through the body.

I thought that was bizarre at the time, but now I realize, it gives an instant boost for redeploying energy.

I’d certainly like to hear that explanation!

That was mentioned, I think in Sustained Action’s notes section. I’ll see if I can find the reference, and put any further details into this comment.

Edit: I put it HERE
