Except, that word “apprentice” is “legally” reserved only for Kylie, Reni, and Nyei.
Carlos knew what would happen if he didn’t put his foot down.
Every person from private classes (200 by Cholita’s estimation) would now be going door to door selling “apprentice cookies”.
It’s a joke. But a little too true to be funny.
So, here’s the best advice:
If you say something in this subreddit that’s wrong, don’t get your feeling hurt if someone tells you so.
Unlike other subreddits, we don’t rub each others backs.
We’ll pat someone on the back, if they make progress by doing visible magic.
But we are NOT supportive, in the way they are in the other subreddits.
Because we don’t want to build up people’s egos.
We want to tear them down.
When you reach the red line on the J curve everyday, you’ll be qualified to help others too, and will also try to “tear down” egos.
Or better put, “the idea of self” has to go away, to reach the purple zone on that J curve.
Where Carlos wanted us to go.
